Doggy Haven Resort is happy to offer all dogs boarding with us their own personal, cozy room with full glass-front, kept cool by a climate-controlled facility and warmed with radiant-floor heating. Each room comes complete with a comfortable bed and soft, clean bedding, plus 24/7 access to clean water – our rooms are also plenty big enough to accommodate most bedding from home if your companion has a favorite blanket or bed. If you are interested in boarding multiple dogs, we can certainly place them in the same room if they get along well, two large dogs or up to four small dogs may comfortably share one of our suites together. Doggy Haven also offers Double-Rooms, featuring two rooms with an adjoining door for families with multiple dogs who can be together sometimes, but would benefit from their own space at mealtime and overnight.
We also offer Additional Services to make sure your pooch is even more pampered during their stay with us! Don’t forget to schedule a bath (with or without a haircut as well) on their departure day so that your companion can go home smelling great.
Our two-week Board & Train program was created to teach dogs basic obedience through daily, personalized and professional training while you’re away on your trip! Your dog’s knowledge will grow and focus will intensify as they learn and perfect their skills in an environment full of distractions and activity. This program benefits dogs of all ages and levels of experience.

For all stays with us, it is important that dogs have UP-TO-DATE vaccinations which include: Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella (good for either 6 months or 1 year), and a negative fecal exam. We require an updated fecal test every 6 months. Please note this does not mean we require all new vaccinations, only up-to-date vaccinations. We ask that you bring the vaccine info with you when you drop off, or send it to us ahead of time, as we are not able to contact your veterinarian for you at this time. The only exception to the vaccination policy is if a dog has a medical condition that bars vaccination (ie cancer) and we have a letter from the veterinarian. Additionally, if your dog has health problems that you believe we should be aware of, please take a copy of our Veterinary Exam Form to your veterinarian to complete.
We now require all dogs to be on flea control
Food and medications must be clearly labeled with your dog’s name and include clear instructions for administration (quantity, times per day, length of time, etc.). Ample food and medications must be provided to cover your dog’s full length of stay plus a few days extra (just in case). You may bring up to 3 toys and a garment with your smell on it to comfort your dog at night.
We want all visits to Doggy Haven to be successful! Having new dogs participate in a meet and greet ensures that your dog will be healthy and happy in our group play environment, and give them a chance to come to have fun and then get to go home at the end of the day in preparation for longer overnight stays. Note: puppies must be at least 4 months old and fully vaccinated to participate in daycare or boarding.
Spay and Neuter Requirements:
Female dogs must be spayed, if over 6 months of age
Male dogs must be neutered, if over 6 months of age
No exceptions allowed
For dogs that have not spent the night with us before, please complete a Boarding Meet & Greet (non-overnight) prior to your visit. A Meet & Greet can be scheduled Monday through Friday at 9:00 am for $50. We only have space for one family at each of these times, so please plan ahead. Paperwork and veterinary requirements must be completed prior to this visit, including a negative fecal exam within two weeks of Meet & Greet date.
A deposit of $75 is required to reserve a room for boarding. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is made within 14 days (30 days prior during our holiday periods) of first boarding day, or is a no show without satisfactory explanation of circumstances.
Boarding rates are charged per night, starting on the drop-off day, regardless of time, and include daily playtime (up to 8 hours each day), feeding, administration of medications, and personal time with a resort companion. One dog is $62. Please call for pricing if you have more than three dogs, or need more than one suite booked for your pups, we will be happy to work with you to make sure we can accommodate your needs!
A deposit of $75 is required to reserve a room for boarding stay over 2 nights in length. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is made within 14 days (30 days prior during our holiday periods) of first boarding day, or is a no show without satisfactory explanation of circumstances.

Although we do not have set times for dropping off boarding dogs, we recommend coming in the morning between 8 am and 11 am to maximize their time in the yard and allow them to get used to the facility and their new furry friends. In the afternoon the best time to drop off would be 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you do need to drop off your dog near to our closing hours on weekdays, please bring them by 5:00 pm, and please feed your dogs their dinner if at all possible, this will help us give them as much time as possible in the yard before dogs are brought in for the evening.
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Closed from 12:00 pm - 2:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 10:00 am & 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am - 10:00 am & 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Holidays: Closed
When picking up your dogs, check out is any time prior to 12:00 pm, this will result in no additional fees. If you must pick your dog up after 2:00 pm please note that while this is possible, it will result in an additional day being added to the boarding total. The only exception to this is if your dog is scheduled to have a bath or groom on the departure day, there will be no charge regardless of pick-up time.
In the event of an emergency, Doggy Haven Resort will make every attempt to contact you. If we are unable to contact you, we will take your dog to a local veterinary center of our choosing, depending on vet availability. Animal care facilities and veterinarians continue to be overwhelmed and booked out, but we will make every reasonable effort for the well being and best interests of your pet. All emergency services required for your dog will be charged to you at the time of pick-up.

Here is a list of PURE BRED dogs that GENERALLY are not a good fit for our playgroups. If your dog is one of the breeds below, please feel free to call so we can discuss the temperament and socialization of your companions to see if they would be a good fit.
Akita
Bull Mastiff
Chow Chow
Rottweiler
Based on our experience with pure-bred Belgian Malinois and their powerful herding instinct, we do not accept them for boarding or daycare. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING SENIOR DOGS:
Our philosophy of always doing what is best for every dog means we recognize that we are not the right place for every dog. It can be extremely stressful for any dog in a new place or new situation, and issues commonly related to stress can be especially rough or even dangerous for elderly and/or dogs with certain medical conditions. Please always inform your vet about your plans to board your precious family member in a high activity environment without overnight supervision. If your dog has the following needs or conditions, please consider boarding at a vet, a facility with a licensed veterinarian on staff, or a qualified in-home pet sitter:
Require 24 hour supervision
Problems eating or drinking, especially in new places, outside of a normal occasional skipped meal
Moderate, severe, or extreme anxiety of any kind
Refusal to take required medication
Issues with other dogs, or any older dog that has never socialized
Severe mobility issues (ask if you think your dog has minor mobility issues)
Dementia
We want your dog to stay healthy during their stay. If you have any questions regarding the above, please call so that we can get a complete understanding of your dog's needs.
